Full-Cassette Awnings
The full-cassette awning is designed to enclose the awning fabric, arms and roller mechanism to protect them from all types of weather. When the awning is fully closed, the fabric rolls inside the cassette completely and the arms fold inwards. This protects the awning fabric and moving parts from the wind and the rain and provides a neat and tidy aesthetic.
Semi-Cassette Awnings
Providing partial cover for the awning fabric, arms and mechanisms, semi-cassette awnings are perfect for more sheltered gardens and patios. The cassette covers the top portion of the fabric and provides some degree of protection for the fabric from the elements and sun.
Open Awnings
Not always classified as the entry-level awnings, open awnings are perfect for those who are on a tight budget.
They don’t provide the protection that full or semi cassette awnings do. They are particularly suitable for locations which have under wall projections, overhanging roofs or balcony ceilings as these will protect your awning from the the elements.
They still provide the same amount of protection that other awnings do and protect them from the sun and UV rays.
